ABOUT THE GAME

A shared shore to unwind.

What is Where Big Fish?

Where Big Fish is a browser-based multiplayer fishing game. Its central activity is simple: explore the map, choose a shore, cast and play a reeling minigame. Discoveries go into a session field guide, while the value of your catches contributes to a room leaderboard.

What makes an outing different?

Fishing spots have different catch pools, and the reeling challenge responds to the fish you encounter. You can enjoy ordinary fishing independently or assist a nearby angler during a Leviathan encounter. The world includes NPC fishers as well as connected players.

The current experience

The game supports mouse and keyboard on desktop and touch controls in landscape mode. It requires JavaScript and an internet connection. There are no player accounts or permanent collection saves in the current version; your score and discoveries belong to your session.

This website's handbook and fish catalog explain the game before you enter. Read the playing guide, explore the fishing grounds, or review privacy and terms.
